PURPOSE:To uniformly adhere a developer to the whole surface of a photoreceptor by operating the rotation, charging, development, and discharging of the photoreceptor only by their setting time by the handling of a service switch at the replacement of the photoreceptor and a cleaning blade. CONSTITUTION:When the service switch is turned on, timers 1, 2, a main motor, the photoreceptor 1, and eraser lamp 9 are actuated and toner starts to be adhered by simultaneously started charger and developing device 4. When a timer (2) set to the time t2 required to rotate the photoreceptor 1 from the charger 2 to a discharger 7 is turned on, discharging is started to remove charging. In case of turning on a timer (3) for the one rotational time t3 of the photoreceptor 1, discharging is turned off and a set timer (1) for T1=t2+t3 is turned on, so that the main motor, developing device and eraser lamp are turned off and the sequence is completed. The developer is applied to the whole surface of the photoreceptor 1 under said sequence control and the developer is included between the photoreceptor and cleaning blade as an antifriction material, making it possible to replace the photoreceptor and the cleaning blade without damage. |
