PURPOSE:To prevent fogging phenomenon due to the adhesion of reverse polarity charged toner by removing the reverse polarity charged toner in a developer to send a developer consisting of toner charged with the same polarity as a carrier to a magnetic brush roll. CONSTITUTION:Positive and negative voltages are respectively applied to the 1st and 2nd belts 17, 18, which are used as a reverse polarity charged toner adsorbing belt and a developer carrying belt respectively. A developer A supplied from an inlet 13 into the body 16 of a container is carried along the 2nd belt 18. On the way of the carriage, reverse polarity charged toner (c) is adsorbed by the 1st belt 17 and the carrier (a) adsorbing and supporting positive polarity charged toner (b) is adhered and left to/in the 2nd belt 18 by a magnet 21. The toner (c) on the 1st belt 17 is separated by the 1st separating member 19 and discharged from an outlet 15 and the toner (b) and the carrier (a) on the 2nd belt 18 are separated by the 2nd separating member 20 and sent from an outlet 14 to a magnetic roll. |
