PURPOSE:To obtain a combustion cylinder from which clean exhaust gas is released, by performing two-staged combustion of infrared rays combustion and white flame combustion in one diathermanous cylinder. CONSTITUTION:First, the primary combustion is taken place in the gap between an inner and an outer flame cylinders 1 and 2, by which the upper part of the outer flame cylinder 2 is red-heated, and the heat rays radiate from the cylinder 2 to the outside, permeating through a diathermanous casing cylinder 3. Next, unburnt gas not completely burnt between the inner and the outer flame cylinders is completely burnt in the secondary combustion by the air being fed from the inside of an inner flame cylinder in the under part of a flame spreading part 4 fitted to the upper part of an inner flame cylinder 1, and by the air rising up along a gap 6 between the diathermanous casing cylinder 3 and the outer e dge 5' of a cover plate. This arrangement makes it possible to perform two- staged combustion of infrared rays combustion and white flame combustion in one diathermanous cylinder 3. By this method, combustion gas containing some harmful content, which is due to a defect of infrared rays combustion, can be completely burnt by succeeding white flame combustion, so that a combustion cylinder from which clean exhaust gas is released can be obtained. |
