PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of only drop in the arc voltage excluding a drop component in the line voltage by determining a division ratio of a measuring device in proportion to the length of a conductor when measurement is made at the position containing a line conductor as it can't be done directly at an arc voltage generation terminal. CONSTITUTION:A breaker 14 is arranged in a grounded tank 28 and a measuring circuit has connection points A and B separated from an arc generating terminal as there are the grounded tank 28 and a bushing (not illustrated) and the like. A voltage measuring device 26 is connected between the connection points A and B through dividers 18, 20, 22 and 24. In the breaker 14 thus arranged, a specified allowable current value is determined simulating an accident. The resistances R1, r1 and R2 of the dividers are determined by the magnitude of a circuit voltage, an energized current and an arc voltage, the limit to an input voltage of the voltage measuring device and the like while the resistance r2 of the divider by measuring the line lengths l1 and l2. This enables the measurement of the arc voltage under the condition excluding a drop in the line voltage. |
