PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of data pulses remarkably by acquiring a peak pulse as original data securely and eliminating excessive peak pulses securely. CONSTITUTION:When a read waveform 301 reaches a peak (a), a hold signal 302 with a peak Va is generated and during the holding, an acceptance inhibition signal 303 for a succeeding peak is generated. If the read waveform crosses the Va within prescribed time td, the peadk (a) is not recognized as data and peak holding and peak acceptance inhibition are released until it reaches a peak (b). The peak value Vb is greater than the Va and if this operation is repeated, the peak hold value reaches a maximum peak Vc. Since the read waveform never crosses the Vc within time td thereafter, peaks (d) and (e) obtained after the maximum peak (c) are inhibited from being accepted and not recognized as data. Thus, only the maximum peak (c) is recognized as data and outputted as a data pulse 304 time Td later. |
