PURPOSE:To perform a smooth movement of a probe and to shorten a flaw finding time, by a method wherein a rotary body, having a crossing track on which a moving truck is delivered, and a stopper are installed at a point where a stationary track, installed at the exterior of a pressure container for a nuclear reactor, intersects a fixed track in a peripheral direction. CONSTITUTION:In case a moving truck 20 is transferred from a longitudinal track 24 to a peripheral track 25A, the truck 20 is moved from the longitudinal track 24A to a track part 26B of a cross-shaped track 26. Said positions can be detected by a photo sensor, not shown, mounted to a count dock 52 and the moving truck 20. If, with a chain 35 operated, a rotary disc 27 is turned until the track part 26D collides with a stopper 28 and the truck 20 is travelled, the truck 20 is transferred to the peripheral track 25A from the track part 26D. A reliable positioning can be performed by the stopper 38, and thereby the cross- shaped track 26 and the peripheral track 25A accurately coincide with each other. |
