摘要 PURPOSE:To unconditionally control an opening of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve with a control signal, by guiding negative pressure to both upper and bottom chambers divided through a diaphragm of the EGR valve and using the method, in which a quantity of air blown from each chamber is determined by duty ratio due to the control signal, or the like. CONSTITUTION:A hollow slider 13 of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve 1 of this EGR device is secured to the center part of a diaphragm 10 separating the inside of a casing into two negative pressure chambers 11, 12 and an opening 16 communicating the both chambers 11, 12 is provided in said slider 13. A guide pin 17, whose top end is fixed to the casing, is slidably fitted. A head part of the pin 17 is connected to vacuum pump 9 through a hose 8 while a valve body 14 is mounted to a bottom part of the slider 13 through a connecting plate 15. Then the both chambers 11, 12 are connected to each flapper valve 22, 23 of a control valve 2 having a function in which the atmosphere 21 is introduced in prescribed proportion to each chamber 11, 12 in accordance with the command of a computer 3.
