PURPOSE:To obtain silver halide color photosensitive material high in sensitivity, and excellent in graininess, raw storage stability, color developing characteristics, by using a specified blocked magenta dye forming coupler. CONSTITUTION:A color photosensitive material contains a blocked magenta dye forming coupler represented by formulaIin which Q is a nonmetallic atomic group for forming a magenta dye forming coupler together with N, and Q forms pyrazolone triazole, pyrazolobenzimidazole, and indazolone represented by formulae III, IV, and V; a part represented by formula II is a blocking group; R1 is H, halogen, alkyl, or the like; R2, R3 are alkyl, aryl, hetrocyclic, amino, or acyl; R4, R5 are alkyl, or aryl or the like; R6 is H, halogen, alkoxy, or the like; and n is 1-4, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive material to be high in sensitivity, good inraw storage stability, and excellent in color developing property, etc. |
