PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of density unevenness by providing a diode having a directional property to interrupt the flow of charge accumulated on a recording paper to a resistance loop consisting of a control electrode drive element, a control electrode, a recording paper, a recording paper holder and the ground. CONSTITUTION:In the drive circuit of an electrostatic recording head in which a back roller 6 presses a recording paper 1 on a recording head side consisting of a control electrode 2 and a needle electrode 3 each facing each other, a voltage is applied by a needle electrode drive element 5 to a large number of needle electrodes 3 provided to the axial direction of the back roller 6, and voltage is applied by a control electrode drive element 4 to a large number of control electrodes 2 provided to the axial direction of the back roller 6 for electrostatic recording, the collector resistances 41b, 42b,...4M+1b of the control electrode drive elements (transistors) 41a, 42a,...4M+1b for the control electrode 2 are connected in common, these are connected to the anode of the diode 9, and the cathode of the diode 9 is connected to the ground. |
