PURPOSE:To provide a storage pump energized by lifting water through a lift pipe by revolution of an impeller driven by a windmill. CONSTITUTION:A wind receiving vane 14 is fit to the body of a wind force rotary impeller 1, which is rotatably mounted via a rotary bearing disposed on a pump body. A communication hole which makes communication of lifting pipes 10 and 11, in response to revolution of the impeller 1 is formed at the bottom of a capacity variation equipment, while check valves 8 and 9 are disposed at the inlet and outlet sides of the lifting pipes, respectively. A rotational energy of the impeller 1 is thereby converted into up-and-down motion, which actuates the capacity variation equipment to produce a differential pressure inside it. Due to the differential pressure, the water is forced to flow in one direction with the aid of the check valves 8 and 9. Hence, the energy required for pumping up water may be saved. |
