PURPOSE:To attain high speed file recovery processing, by providing a spare file on a direct access storage device (DASD) of a center and switching a file in use at present into the spare file at a failure of the file in use. CONSTITUTION:The spare file 5' is provided for the DASD and full damping of the present use file 3 is done for the file 5' at each specified opportunity. Further, an updated hysteresis file 4' is acquired with update information only after the full damping, and when the file 3 is failed, the file 5' is used. Thus, the load time between the files is eliminated entirely. |
