PURPOSE:To obtain a product of high out-of-roundness without using a core by pressing the end of a material formed to U-shape from a thin plate with a concave semi-cylindrical punch and forming to cylindrical form. CONSTITUTION:A material 2 is pushed out to a press 10 from a pile by the pawl 12a of a pusher 12, and the material 2 is pushed by the press 10 and formed to a U-shaped piece 2'. The U-shaped piece 2' is sent from the press 10 to a press 11 by the patch 12b of the pusher 12. The U-shaped piece 2' is fitted to the concave face 3'a of a lower die 3', and the end of the U-shaped piece 2' is held down by a punch 4' and formed to a cylindrical sleeve. Then, the product formed to a sleeve by the press 11 is pulled out by an arm 14. Thus, the semiprocessed product is carried almost linearly from the lower die 3 to lower die 3', and a product of high out-of-roundness can be obtained without using a core. |
