<p>PURPOSE:To control the number of revolution of a water turbine at a constant rate by a simple constitution by controlling currents flowing through dummy load in response to voltage applied to load. CONSTITUTION:The load 17 is supplied with the output of the generator 15 driven by means of the water turbine 13 through a tranmsmission line 16. A power regulator 18 controls currents flowing through the dummy load 19 so that voltage applied to the 17 detected by means of a voltage sensor 20 agrees with the set value of a voltage setter 21. Accordingly, the number of revolution of the water turbine can be controlled at a constant rate without requiring a speed regulator such as a governor.</p> |
