PURPOSE:To make it possible to aim at reduction of power consumption of an indicator together with providing a picture image display with high brightness and high resolution, by arranging a grid shaped electrode having a plural number of opening parts coaxial with an electron beam control electrode, between a deflection electrode and an acceleration electrode. CONSTITUTION:The first grid shaped electrode 20 with a through hole 24 is provided for guiding rectilinearly deflected electron beams to be next electrode 22 while horizontally separating them. The second grid shaped electrode 21 having a through hole 24' coaxial with the through hole 25 is provided for preventing the crosstalk of electron beams passing through the through hole 25 of the electrode 22 while focussing said beams. Further, the third grid shaped electrode 27 having a through hole 24'' coaxial with the respective through holes 24, 25, 24' of a group of electrodes 20-22 is provided, and a pair of plate electrode 29 are also provided, constituting an acceleration electrode 28 for assisting the vertical deflection of electron beams with said pair of electrodes. Hereby, it is possible to reduce the power consumption along with the display of a picture image with high resolution. |
