<p>PURPOSE:To divide and edit data blocks efficiently, by dividing data, which is longer than a maximum user data length, to plural data blocks so that data in each data block is in the range of an allowable data length and transmitting data. CONSTITUTION:In an exchange storing terminals which receive data with data blocks which are in the range of a certain maximum user data length, if data longer than the maximum user data length of a terminal comes to this terminal, data is divided to plural data blocks, which are in the range of the maximum user data length, in the exchange. Prescribed quantities of data (a), (b), (c), and (d) before and after boundaries of divided blocks are taken out, and determined fixed data STX and ETB are stored before and after boundaries to constitute one data block, and determined fixed data STX and ETB are given before and after taken-out data (a), (b), (c), and (d) to constitute one data block, and thus, data blocks have the allowable data length, and data is transmitted. Consequently, data is transmitted surely to the terminal where the data length shorter than the length of received data is handled.</p> |
