PURPOSE:To reduce the memory capacity and to reproduce easily a moving picture such as telop across information of a still picture, by picking up a mark, which indicates the point of a joint position, together with a series of image pickup objects and joining information of the still picture on a basis of this mark. CONSTITUTION:Character information 2 as a series of image pickup objects written on a roll paper 1 is picked up by a TV camera 3, and the output from the camera 3 is subjected to A/D conversion and is stored in a memory part 5 where plural frame pictures can be written. Marks 11 indicating points of joint positions are added to overlap parts 6 of respective frames along the longitudinal direction of the end part of the roll paper 1. Information of timing points 7 for taking-in of information of the roll paper 1 is applied to the memory part 5 from a still picture taking-in timing part 9. When information 2 is reproduced in a recording and reproducing part 12, marks 11 are detected in a joint position detecting part 13, and information 2 across frames are joined, and thus, a series of video information are reproduced with an easy operation. |
