摘要 PURPOSE:To withstand the press welding thrust of the work on a non-rotating side with simple mechanisms by using floating jaw type mechanisms provided with clamping devices having positioning functions and two independent cylinders for a press welding thrust receiving device on the non-rotating side of a frictional press welding machine. CONSTITUTION:Holding jaws 122, 124 of the work 121 are stuck to two slides 118 and 120 on a base plate 116, and further the end parts on the opposite sides of both sliders are connected to hydraulic cylinders 130, 132 by means of plungers 126, 128, respectively. In the stage of clamping operation of the work 121, pressure oil is introduced into the chambers 142, 144 of cylinders 130, 132 to slide plungers 118, 120, and the work 121 is gripped with the jaws 122, 124. In this case, the above-mentioned devices as fixing and clamping devices for the work 121 have the function for positioning the rotating and clamping devices opposed to each other on the plate 116 at a prescribed spacing and withstand the press welding thrust to be exerted upon the work 121 with the simple mechanism.
