PURPOSE:To manufacture a seamless cylindrical bearing material easily by forming a platy bearing material having sliding face on the surface by drawing and cutting it at an arbitrary angle to the axial line. CONSTITUTION:A bearing material 3 consisting of composite material of a backing material 3a and a bearing layer 3b is prepared. The bearing layer 3b is made of Sn alloy, Cu alloy, Al alloy etc. and if necessary, a lubricant is soaked. The bearing material 3 is deep drawn by a press and formed to a cylindrical material 4. By cutting the cylindrical material 4 at an arbitrary angle to the axial line to specified width, a seamless clindrical bearing material 5 is obtained. |
