Similarly, a detector 2 detects light at points 12 and 13 on the surface 8 to find autocorrelation time T2. The surface velocity of the fluid is found from the time data T1 and T2 and the distance between the detectors. Similarly, the distance from pinholes to the fluid surface are found from the distances between the detectors and a slit and the time data T1 and T2, and then flow rate is found from known distance to the bottom of a groove flume where the fluid flows, the time data T1 and T2, the velocity of fluid etc.
