PURPOSE:A cosmetic for hair, containing zinc pyrithione and an esterification product having at least one pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid residue in the molecule as a dispersion stabilizer thereof, and having improved dispersion stability. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic for hair containing zinc pyrithione and one or more compounds expressed by formulasI, II and III[at least one of Xs is pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid residue; the rest are H, higher fatty acid residue; etc.; (a1), (a2) and (a3) and (b1), (b2) and (b3) are 0-20; (m1)-(m6) and (n1)-(n6) are 0- 10]as a dispersion stabilizer. The conventional dispersion stabilizers are anionic or nonionic high polymers, etc. and stiffen hair or cause flaking by the combing when the polymers remain on the hair. The use of the compounds expressed by formulasI, II and III eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages. |
