PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of electric polarization of a sample interposing between electrodes and to make the measurement of moisture content having a small output error possible by stabilizing an electric current between the electrodes, by applying pulse voltage having constant period between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:When a sample 2 is interposed between electrodes 1 and pulse voltage is applied between the electrodes 1 by a pulse generator 6 and a transistor 5, an electric current having periodicity flows on between the electrodes 1 in correspondence to this pulse voltage and this current is led into a logarithmic converter 4 through the transistor 5. And, each crest value of logarithmically converted current depends upon the resistance value between the electrodes. Accordingly, the generation of electric polarization in the sample 2 interposing between the electrodes 1 is prevented by applying the pulse voltage and the electric current depending upon the resistance value of only the sample requiring the measurement of the moisture content is obtained. |
