PURPOSE:To enable a remote control device for a gas bomb valve, which is adapted to close the gas bomb valve as soon as a failure such as, for example, gas leakage, happens, to be easily attached to a gas bomb body without any measure being taken to the exsisting pipe lines. CONSTITUTION:The housing 9 of an automatic valve control unit 1 is provided with a skirt part 9C which is fitted to cylindrical gripping frame 3 for carrying a propane gas bomb 2 with the use of bolts 3, and two chambers 9A, 9B above the skirt part 9C. A remote control box 5 in a local gas consumption area or the like is connected with a cable 11 including a power feed line to a motor 22 for rotating a handle controlling shaft 10 through a train of gears 14 through 19, which is disposed in the chamber 9A, and signal lines connected to limit switches 26 through 28. |
