The clip (3) fixes a non-detachable strip e.g. (20) to the body of a vehicle. The clip houses into a strip pocket and is fixed by a headed rivet (4) shank-welded normally to the body (2). It has central (8), upper (9) and lower (10) parts, the first resting on the body whilst the second is bent forward and the last makes a further bearing contact with the body. A cantilevered tongue (16) extends upwards from the bottom part, incorporating a notch (17) accommodating the rivet shank (5). The clip is equipped to prevent demounting of the strip, using ears (18) resisting the demounting movement or using bottom edge flanges (12) which co-operate with a strip tab (25) to the same effect. A further detail uses a one way 'C' shaped pivot clip actuated by downward strip motion.
