PURPOSE:To simultaneously perform low angle winding and high angle winding within a short time with high accuracy, in a filament winding process, by using an eye having a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:An eye 10 is equipped with a plurality of gap parts 11 and long fibers A impregnated with a resin are passed through said gap parts 11 one at a time and a helical pass A' is allowed to pass through the parts 11a vertical to a mandrel rotary axis C of the gap parts while a hoop pass A'' is allowed to pass through the parts 11b parallel to the axis C of said gap parts. In winding helical winding fibers, the alignment of the fibers in the mandrel rotary axis direction is performed by utilizing the distance (l) between the adjacent delivery points of the eye part. The alignment of the fibers in an expanding direction is accurately performed by allowing the fibers to pass along the vertical parts 11a of the gap parts having weak bundling force. In hoop winding, delivery is performed at the parts 11b parallel to the mandrel rotary axis C of the gap parts. By expanding the shape of each part 11b, a tape width can be expanded. Hoop and helical tape widths can be widened using one set of the eyes 10 and, at the same time, the fibers can be wound equally and effectively at the same pitch. |
