PURPOSE:To facilitate packing of a prescribed amount of a fusible salt and enhance working efficiency in packing, by a method wherein a fusible salt is formed into a solid body provided with an air vent passage through the trunk theof, and is packed into a tube, when packing a fusible salt into a tube. CONSTITUTION:The fusible salt 1 to be packed into a tube 2 is preliminarily solidified 13 by measuring the amount thereof. The solid fusible salt 13 is provided with the gas vent hole 14 having a small diameter. By fitting the solid fusible salt 13 into the tube 2, a bridging phenomenon encountered in packing a powder into a tube is avoided, and the salt 13 can be smoothly fitted into the tube 2 since air can be vented through the hole 14. In addition, since the salt 13 is solid, deliquescence by absorbing moisture can be restricted, and a prescribed amount of the salt can be packed. Accordingly, a prescribed amount of the salt can be secured, and the packing process can be facilitated. |
