PURPOSE:To simplify the cut-off work by a method in which an interlocking pipe having a projection is inserted into the end of an excavated element and pulled out while placing concrete, and a bar-like cut-off member is inserted into the conccavity formed at the end of the concrete. CONSTITUTION:Excavation is made while filling an element 7 with mud water in front of an existing concrete element 6, and an interlocking pipe 8 provided with a projection 9 in its peripheral longitudinal direction from the upper end to the lower end is inserted into the end of the excavated element 7'. An iron bar cage 10 is set, the pipe 8 is pulled out while placing concrete 11, and after the concrete 11 is hardened, a bar-like cut-off member (not illustrated) having an outer layer composed of a water-wettable substance and a core of a metal is inserted into a concavity 12 formed at the end of the concrete 11. Thus, the joint having excellent cut-off property can be obtained at low cost. |
