PURPOSE:To adequately maintain temperature of cooling water in both circulative passages, by providing the different circulative passages of cooling water to a cylinder head and cylinder blook and providing a one-way valve which permits a flow of the cooling water only to a bypass passage of the latter circulative passage from a bypass passage of the former circulative passage. CONSTITUTION:Different circulative passages of cooling water respectively comprising the first and second cooling water pumps 14l 17, the first and second thermostats 8, 10 and the first and second bypass passages 15, 16 are connected to a cylinder head 2 and cylinder block or crank case 3 of an engine 1. A heater core 20 is connected to the bypass passage 15 through a three-way cock 21, while a communicating flow passage 18 is connected between the bypass passages 15, 16, and a one-way valve 10, which permits a circulative flow of the cooling water only to the latter passage from the former passage, is provided in the passage 10. |
