<p>The protective bumper (1) is for fitting on to a broom. It consists of a slightly elastic band of absorbent material, such as rubber or plastics foam material, that is shorter than the periphery of the broom and fits tightly on to it. It also has a central piece (2) that is made of a more elastic material than the band. This holds the band in place and has a hole (3) through which the broom handle passes.</p> |
