The invention relates to an arrangement for the mounting of an assembly comprising a drive motor, especially a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine and a transmission arranged on the output side of the latter and comprising a gearbox and an axle transmission on the body of a vehicle, especially a passenger motor vehicle. In order to prevent the transmission of structure-borne noise oscillations emanating from the drive motor to the vehicle body and in particular the interior of the vehicle it is proposed according to the invention that the transmission (4, 5) be supported on the body (7) by means of bearings (9) supporting the drive torques and the drive motor (2) on the transmission by means of soft bearings (10), preventing any transmission of structure-borne noise, and in addition that the output shaft (11) of the drive motor be connected to the input shaft (12) of the transmission by way of a flexible shaft coupling (13). <IMAGE>
