Car roof transport container for kites, hanggliders or the like in the form of an elongate cylindrical body which is closed off at the front side by a universal ball joint and is aerodynamically shaped and whose rear opening can be closed off by means of a sealable cover and which can be attached to commercially available car roof carriers with the aid of at least two holding devices.
