PURPOSE:To copy a long original without requiring a complicated operation, by constituting so that a form tray which has stored the long form is selected automatically when a long original copying mode has been selected. CONSTITUTION:For instance, when a copying mode selecting means 1 is set to a long original copying mode and copying is started, whether a long original selecting switch has been depressed or not is discriminated by a controlling circuit 5, and if it has been depressed, whether a copying machine has become the long original copying mode or not is discriminated. Unless it has become the long original copying mode, it is set to the long original copying mode, and whether a long form has been selected or not as form size is discriminated. If the long form has not been selected, a long form selecting signal is outputted to a tray selecting means 6, a form tray which has stored the long form is selected, and its display is executed. In this way, a long original can be copied without requiring a complicated operation. |
