PURPOSE:To transmit an optical signal even in case when the number of cores is >=3, by fixing a collimating lens, etc. to the end parts of plural concentrical circle-like optical fibers centering around the rotary axis of a drum, and making optical axes of plural lenses for condensing the parallel light emitted from said end parts coincide with the rotary axis. CONSTITUTION:Light which has been wave-guided through an optical fiber cable 12 is made parallel light by collimating lenses 15a-15c fixed to end parts 14a-14c and is made incident to lenses 16a-16c. As for the lenses 16a-16c, its optical axes coincide with the rotary axis of a dum 11, therefore, the light being parallel to the optical axis, which has been made incident to the lenses 16a-16c is condensed to focuses of the lenses 16a-16c, and is made incident to optical coupling fibers 17a-17c placed on the focuses. Accordingly, even in case when the number of cores is >=3, an optical signal can be transmitted and received. |
