摘要 PURPOSE:To improve cooling efficiency of a radiator by a method wherein an air intake opening is provided at the front surface of a bumper having a duct opened toward rear direction of a car, while the duct is provided as extending from the front surface of the bumper toward the rear and its sectional area at a rear end opening is smaller than a front opening. CONSTITUTION:The air intake opening 5 is provided at the front surface of the bumper 1. The duct 7 is extended from the air intake opening 5 toward the rear, and its sectional area of the rear opening 7b is smaller than the front opening 7a. The duct 7 is provided to the bumper 1 as the rear opening 7b is opened toward the car rear direction at the upper part of the bumper 1. Thereby, the air introduced from the air intake opening 5 is accelerated and blown off from the rear opening 7b of the duct 7. Because the air pressure of the upper and rear part of the bumper 1 is lowered, the stagnated air area (shaded part) in front of the radiator 2 is narrowed by the negative pressure. The stream line B flowing on the upper surface of the hood 4 is attracted and introduced into the grill 3 due to the negative pressure, and the amount of the air flowing through the radiator 2 is increased.
