PURPOSE:To make an arrangement that the facsimile device at the called side under the automatic answering condition can be switched to the manual answering condition by the telephone set at the calling side and the facsimile device can be set to the serviceable condition by the operator of the called sided called from the calling side, by installing a tone decoder to the facsimile device. CONSTITUTION:When a call signal from a calling side telephone set arrives at a facsimile device under the automatic answering condition connected to a signal line 3-b through an exchange, the signal is detected at a CI detecting circuit and a signal line 5-d generates the output, because a switch rl2 is ON. Then, an FF13 is driven and an output 5-e outputs the signal and the facsimile device is started. Thereafter, a switch rl1 is switched and an answer signal is transmitted to the calling side by connecting the lines 3-b and 5-b with each other and, at the same time, a tone decoder 7 is set to the enable condition. When the operator at the calling side dials the pushphone after he knows the starting of the called side device by the answer signal, the decoder 7 discriminates this, and a signal line 7-c outputs a manual condition request signal, the facsimile device is set to the manual condition by connecting the lines 3-b and 5-a with each other, and thus, the facsimile device is set to the serviceable condition. |
