PURPOSE:To realize an automatic play of a record, by shifting an arm base in response to an extent of displacement due to the tracing of the record sound groove with a tone arm in combination of a driving spring and a brake. CONSTITUTION:In the figure A, a rope 11 is pulled toward an arrow (a) by the force of a driving spring 14, and the pulled part 29c is pulled toward an arrow (a) with a stop pin 28 used as a rotary shaft. At the same time, a tone arm 7 is turned toward an arrow (b), and a brake part 29a hits and presses a rod 8 to prevent the shift of the rope 11 toward an arrow (a). In the figure B, the stylus tip of a pickup 6 traces the sound groove of a record and then has a displacement toward an arrow (c). As a result, the part 29a releases a contact with a rod 8 and then moves toward an arrow (a) by the force of the spring 14 until the state of the figure A is obtained. With repetition of such operations, the arm 7 has a displacement toward an arrow (a). When a play of the record is over, the rope 11 is shifted toward an arrow (d) as shown by the figure C. Then the arm 7 turns toward an arrow (d), and a roller 29b touches the rod 8 and then turns to move toward an arrow (d). |
