PURPOSE:To realize nimble change-over of the range and eliminate the operating lever for changing-over and consequently enlarge a car compartment space by a structure wherein a driving unit to actuate the hydraulically operated valve of a transmission is composed of electrically-driven means and a controlling unit to control the operation of said electrically-driven means. CONSTITUTION:A worm 3 is coupled through a coupling 2 to the roary shaft of an electric motor 1. The rotation of said worm 3 is transmitted through gears 5 and 7 to a sector 8 rotatably fitted onto the shaft 10 of a bracket 9 formed in a fixed member. Said sector 8 can engage with an arm 11 rotatably fitted onto the shaft 10 by means of a lock pin 12. A sector gear 11a, with which a stopper 13 is engaged, is formed on said arm 11, to which a wire to a operate the hydraulically operated valve in the transmission is connected and also a position sensor 16 to detect the position of the arm 11 is provided and further a solenoid 17 to engage with a projection 11c formed on the arm 11 is provided. The operation of the motor 1 is controlled by means of a controlling circuit, in which the sensor 16 and the solenoid 17 are contained. |
