PURPOSE:To always obtain an approximately certain tape contact pressure for a rotary head device, by attaching a head chip to a bimorph plate to feed an output back to the bimorph plate and then providing a reference bimorph part to detect only the centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:A bimorph plate 8 is inserted to a pierced hole 7 on a plane 5a of an upper rotary drum 5 which is vertical to the rotary shaft of the drum 5. Then the plate 8 is fixed to the plane 5a by means of a holder 9 attached to an end of the plate 8. At the same time, a head chip 10 is attached to the other end of the plate 8 in the direction vertical to the electrode surface of the plate 8. The plate 8 is separated into pieces by a cutting groove 11 and non-electrode layer parts 12 and 13, and a part which is adhered directly to the holder 9 is used as a driving bimorph part 14. Then one of the forked parts is used as a reference bimorph part 15, and the other part is used as a sensing bimorph part 16 respectively. |
