Horizontal well

In a horizontal well in which horizontal sampling filter tubes for sampling ground water extend in a star shape from a vertical well tube, feed filter tubes for feeding oxygen or water containing a substance giving off oxygen are additionally arranged in a star shape between the sampling filter tubes and/or radially on the outside of them. The effort needed to feed the water carrying the oxygen is slight, so that the costs for pumping water from which iron has been removed are low. The invention also permits the conversion of existing horizontal wells by separation of the horizontal filter stretches or by lengthening of the horizontal filter stretches by subsequent horizontal bores. <IMAGE>
