PURPOSE:To shorten the writing time to a disk device and the occupying time of a controller, etc., by writing back only the field to which the writing is replaced in a write-back mode to the disk device. CONSTITUTION:The signal of DKC1 of a decoding circuit 5 of a cash controller (DCC) 4 is supplied to a control storage/register 6 as well as to a microprocessor MP7. The MP7 indicates the execution of a command. A track buffer 8 transfers the information to DKC1 or DKCA2 through a transfer circuit 9. When a hit decision shows a hit after a command is given from a CPU to replace the information, the positioning is performed on the buffer 8. Then the data is written to an indicated field. In this case, the field information is added. The field information of each region consists of one byte, and a replaced field is characterized with a reference code. |
