PURPOSE:To execute an optical logical operation effectively between pictures of high resolution, by providing a logical selector having a reflector, on a condensing position at the outside of the optical axis of an image-forming optical system. CONSTITUTION:On one opening side 50 of an image-forming optical system placed like a telescope, which has been constituted of at least two lenses, read- out parts 2, 3 having a read-out light source device 30 for emitting a parallel lumiinous flux of linear polarization, and a polarizer 80 are provided by placing an optical axis 100 between. On the image-forming surface of the other opening side 60, at least two optical write type liquid crystal light valve 10 whose display surface is faced to the image-forming optical system are provided, and at a condensing position at the outside of the optical axis 100 of the image-forming optical system, a logical selector 700 having at least a reflector is provided. This logical selector 70 is constituted of combination of the reflector and the polarizer. |
