PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of a disk cash subsystem, by preparing a data to be required when the system rises on a cash memory, and then increasing the hit factor on the cash memory. CONSTITUTION:The transfer data of a disk 5 is set to a memory 9, and the position information is written to a table 10. Then only the information on the first staging data is recorded to a memory 12. A processing part 8 writes a data to the memory 9 based on an effective data of the memory 12 with the second application of a power supply. Then the information of the memory 12 is written onto the table 10, and a flag part 11 is set. The flag is reset when the data is rewritten, and the replacement information of the table 10 is written to the memory 12. The prestaging information is recorded to the memory 12 with the next application of the power supply. This is equal to the information used at the starting time. Thus the probability of application is increased at the next starting time. |
