PURPOSE:To easily adjust remaining quantity detecting characteristics by a detecting device simplex, by adjusting detecting characteristics of a developer remaining quantity detecting device in a state that a solid developer tablet is brought into contact with a detecting coil in order to decide a remaining quantity detecting level. CONSTITUTION:A solid developer tablet 10 is molded like a disk by mixing a developer with a thermosetting resin such as epoxy resin, etc. In case that the solid developer tablet 10 formed in this way is placed on a detecting coil 7A, the detecting coil 7A is in the same magnetic condition as the case when a developer 4 is in a remaining quantity detecting level. Accordingly, in this state, when a circuit constant is adjusted so that an oscillating circuit 7E stops its oscillation, as for a developer remaining quantity detecting device 7, the adjusting work by a simplex is completed. According to such constitution, when adjusting the characteristics, a powdery developer becomes unnecessary, and the remaining quantity detecting characteristics can be adjusted easily by the detecting device simplex. |
