PURPOSE:To prevent a light-receiving type displaying element incorporated in a pannel from being damaged by high temperature in midsummer by a method wherein a instrument pannel which displays the speed, the number of revolutions, etc. is connected with an open air intake hole of an air conditioner by a duct. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal pannel 1 is a light-receiving type displaying element. The luminous element 2 such as tungsten-filament lamp, fluorescent lamp, etc. illuminates from the back side of the pannel 1. The light diffusion member 3 supplies the light from a light emitting element 2 to the liquid crystal pannel 1, after uniforming said light. Said pannel 1, the element 2 and the member 3 are incorporated within the instrument pannel 4 provided with the dazzle prevention film 4a on its front surface. The pannel 4 is connected with the near part of the air intake hole 5 by the duct 14. During the driving, the open air introduced from the intake hole 5 is supplied into the pannel 4 through the duct 14. The temperature rising in the pannel 4 is lowered, the damage caused by high temperature of the liquid crystal pannel 1 is thus prevented. |
