PURPOSE:To obtain a flat magnetically attaching end surface as well as permit an engaging means to be excellently attached to clothes or the like, by pressing a ferromagnetic plate constituting a male member of the engaging means so as to simultaneously form notches and tabs in addition to a rod part, and bending the plate by utilizing the notches. CONSTITUTION:A non-magnetic case 4 has a collar 4b communicating with a bore 1a in a permanent magnet 1 and abutting against the end of the bore 1a, and a tab 4a at its opened end, thereby to attach the magnet 1 and a ferromagnetic plate 2 to each other. A male member mating with this female member is shaped by pressing a ferromagnetic plate 3 to simulataneously form a rod 3a, a bent part 3c and notches 3b as well as tabs 3d on both side edges. If the plate 3 is bent by utilizing the notches 3b, it is possible to easily obtain a flat end surface which magnetically attaches to the female member, and the male member is excellently attached to clothes (x) or the like through the tabs 3d. According to this constitution, the ferromagnetic plate 3 is reduced in forming cost, and bending and attaching are made easy and reliable. |
