PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a position sensing element by obtaining a position sensing signal on the basis of voltage induced in a stator coil when turning a rotor magnet. CONSTITUTION:A switching circuit 1 is driven by an output from a driving-pulse generating logic 2, and conduction to stator coils La, Lb is controlled. The switching circuit 1 outputs pulse signals having edges corresponding to the zero-cross points of induced voltage each induced in the stator coils La, Lb. The pulse signals are inputted to D flip-flops 3, 4 and delayed at 45 deg., thus forming a pulse signal equivalent to an output signal from a position sensing element. The pulse signal is transmitted over the driving-pulse generating logic 2. |
