PURPOSE:To check data sufficiently effectively even when there are considerable noise in a data transmission line, by adding data regarding them as numerals, and writing the added result in a checking part to transmit the contents. CONSTITUTION:Eight-unit codes in text parts X, Y, Z stored in a memory 5 are arrayed vertically in every character by a text part generating part 6. An adding part 9 adds said 8-unit codes regarding the codes as hexadecimal numbers. A check part generating part 10 generates an 8-unit code 10B and sends the code 10B to a check part area 3' to prepare a text part 2', check part 3'. A transmission control character adding part 8 enters transmission control characters indicating the start and end of the text in text part 2 areas 1', 4' to transmit them. The receiving part compares the code 10B received by a check part receiving part 12 with the 8-unit code 10B generated by the check part generating part 15 in the same method as the transmitting side to check the error. |
