A camping stove for firing with condensed petroleum gas or similar fuel comprises at least one burner (7) with a flow regulation valve, a fuel container (3), and a pressure regulator (6) Fig. 1 (not shown) in a line between the fuel container (3) and the burner (7) for regulating the pressure of the fuel supplied to the burner. Heat transmission means (4, 13) are arranged with one portion (4) positioned in contact with the fuel container (3) and with another portion (13) positioned close to the burner (7), so that the quantity of heat transmitted from the flame of the burner (7) through the heat transmission means (4, 13) to the fuel container (3) substantially corresponds to the heat of vaporization of the amount of fuel consumed during the combustion. The outlet pressure of the pressure regulator (6) corresponds to the vapour pressure of the fuel gas at the lowest ambient temperature where the burner (7) is to give full effect. <IMAGE> |
