The dough-like moulding composition, which can be processed, in particular, by hand, and is used to produce chemically resistant apparatuses, containers, pipes and the like, comprises a mixture of about 45-55 parts by weight of heat-curing, precondensed phenol-formaldehyde or furan resins and about 45-55 parts by weight of filler, including glass fibres and/or carbon fibres. In order to improve the non-sag properties of the moulding composition of this type, so that it can be processed, in particular, by hand and does not slide off, even on inclined and vertical mould surfaces, the filler is composed of 10-30 parts by weight of glass fibres and/or carbon fibres having a fibre length of 0.3-25 mm, 60-80 parts by weight of pulverulent, mineral filler, for example barytes, kaolin, mica and/or graphite, coke powder and carbon black, and 1-10 parts by weight of rheological additives, such as talc, montmorillonite, amorphous silicic acid and the like.
