PURPOSE:To confirm easily the logical state of each input/output signal at the program console side, by dividing a display panel of the program console side into plural sections and securing a 1:1 correspondence between each of the sections and each input/output signal of an input/output device for a binary display. CONSTITUTION:For a display panel 7B for 32 characters provided at the program console side, a character area is divided into upper and lower parts in order to display the logical states of input/output signals at 64 points. Thus 64 input/output display sections are formed in all, and then the input/output numbers are specified with a 1:1 correspondence secured to the input/output signals at 64 points of the input/output device. In other words, the center 4th row of a 5X7 matrix is used as an up-down partitioning line, and the logical state of the corresponding input/output signal is displayed in a binary form at the area of the upper and lower matrixes. |
