<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance to smooth draw-out action of a magnetic tape and the damage or breakage of the tape or a cover member, by inhibiting load-in of a small-sized tape cassette into a cassette holder when the cover member is closed, and then permitting the load-in of said cassette into the cassette holder when the cover member is opened. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd tape cassette 2 is loaded from above into the cassette storing part of a case 1. In this case, the lower edge part 3a of a cover member 3 touches the tip part (upper edge) 8a of a stopper 8 before the bottom plate 2a of the cassette 2 touches an active member 6 if the member 3 is closed. Thus it is impossible to load the cassette 2 into the cassette storing part. While if the member 3 is opened, the member 6 is pushed by the plate 2a and then by an opening edge face part 2b. As a result, the member 6 turns counterclockwise against the force of a return spring 12 and centering on a shaft 7. Accordingly the stopper 8 turns clockwise centering on a shaft 9 and via a coupling member 10. As a result, the cassette 2 is loaded into the cassette storing part, and at the same time a magnetic tape 4 can be drawn outside.</p> |
